Our ConsorzioPietre & dintorni was known from the outset as an organisation based in the Salento having a strong orientation towards projecting the capabilities of member firms well beyond local and regional confines.
The Consortium was set up in January 2008, achieving recognition nevertheless due to the company’s authoritative status, which is the result of the experience, capabilities and know-how which are assets of the respective member firms:

In fact for several decades the 5 member firms have been operating in the following sectors: Facilities in Lecce stone, Construction works, Extraction and processing of marble and Materials for building construction.
Mission
Since being set up as a cooperative venture, as of January 2008 Mele Design, Imer, Colella Costruzioni srl, Edil Marmi di Pasquale Di Santo and Wave srl, have shared their undertaking to give the maximum possible importance to pooling their respective experience and capabilities in any business area where a similar proposal (in terms of products , services and know-how represented as being Made in Italy), can be developed in their business interest.
Under the framework of very recent policies intended to support the competitive strengths of companies and manufacturing based in Apulia, in the context of the global market, the Mission of Consorzio Pietre & Dintorni is in fact internationalisation.
A proper strategy of positioning of the 5 companies, and of their respective products, both within and outside Europe, is intended to “make use of” trade fairs in Italy and elsewhere as the appropriate occasions for establishing contact with different kinds of potential customers.
Points of strength
The Consortium is also responsible for selecting and guaranteeing the quality of products; supervising aspects of originality, being the specialist proposer of a “portafolio of products” that is much larger than any single company could offer.
This aspect in particular constitutes a real competitive advantage because it represents a true “emanation” of the member companies, in fact the Consortium is able to guarantee Exclusiveness and professional Competence; also thanks to a meaningful process of osmosis between their respective experiences and capabilities, under the framework of a consortium which is by its nature open to interchange andmutual assistance.
All meetings and discussions to be organised by Consorzio Pietre&Dintorni on matters of interest to building construction and inside/outside urban facilities.
